Privacy Policy for Coilbound

This Privacy Policy explains how Sycamore Hill Studios ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the mobile game Coilbound (the "Game"), package id com.sycamorehillstudios.coilbound. By installing or using the Game, you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

We do not ask you for, collect, or store any personal information ourselves. The Game has no account, no login, and no sign-up. Your progress and settings are saved only on your own device. The Game can be played fully offline.

The one exception is advertising: the Game shows optional, rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. If (and only if) you choose to watch one, Google's advertising SDK may collect certain information as described below.

Information collected by advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to serve optional rewarded ads. No ad is ever forced on you and no ad interrupts gameplay — you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game bonus. When ads are served, Google and its partners may collect and process:

• An advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)
• Approximate (non-precise) location, derived from your IP address
• Device information such as model, operating system version, and language
• Ad interaction data (impressions and clicks) and crash diagnostics

This data is handled by Google under its own privacy policy, which you can read here: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can learn about and control ads personalization at https://adssettings.google.com, and you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device's system settings under Privacy → Ads.

What we do NOT collect

• No names, emails, phone numbers, or contacts
• No precise/GPS location
• No photos, files, microphone, or camera access
• No accounts, and no cloud storage of your saves

In-app purchases

The Game contains no in-app purchases and nothing that can be bought grants gameplay advantages. Should optional purchases be added in the future, they will be processed by Google Play; we never see or store your payment details.

Children

The Game is rated for teens and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the advertising SDK, please contact us and we will help address it.

Data retention and your choices

Because your game data lives only on your device, uninstalling the Game removes it. Advertising data is retained by Google according to Google's policies, not ours. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time using the device and Google links above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Game evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
