This Privacy Policy explains how Sycamore Hill Studios ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with Idle Voidkeeper (the "App"). By installing or using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Idle Voidkeeper is a local-first game. The majority of your data never leaves your device.

• Display name & avatar — entered by you, stored only on your device.
• Gameplay progress — upgrades, currency, achievements, run history — stored locally via the Android Room database on your device.
• Settings preferences — sound, vibration, game speed — stored locally via SharedPreferences.

We do not operate a backend server. None of the above is transmitted to us.

2. Third-Party Services

Google AdMob

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID), IP address, and other device information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings under Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

AdMob's privacy practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Google Play Billing

In-app purchases (VIP subscription, Eclipse Token bundles) are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment information. Google Play's privacy practices apply to all purchase transactions.

3. Advertising ID

The App uses the Android Advertising ID (provided by Google Play Services) solely to support AdMob ad delivery. We do not use this ID for any other purpose, and we do not combine it with personally identifiable information.

4. Data Sharing & Sale

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. Data is only shared with the third-party SDKs listed in Section 2 as required for their operation.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

All game data is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by:

• Using Settings → Reset Progress inside the App, or
• Uninstalling the App (this removes all local data).

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Security

Because game data is stored locally on your device, its security depends on your device's security settings (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We encourage you to keep your device software up to date.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
