Sycamore Hill Studios ("we", "us", or "our") built Mech Blitz (the "App") as a free-to-play mobile game. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use the App.

            Summary: We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. The App uses third-party services (Google AdMob and Google Play Billing) that may collect limited data as described below.
        

Information We Collect

We do not directly collect any personal data. The App does not require an account, login, email address, or any personally identifiable information to play.

All game progress (levels, currency, upgrades, settings) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to any server.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services that may collect information independently:

Google AdMob — We use Google AdMob to display rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve relevant ads. You always choose whether to watch a rewarded ad; no ads are shown without your action.

Google Play Billing — In-app purchases are processed through Google Play. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Google. We do not receive or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.).

Advertising

The App contains opt-in rewarded ads only. You are never forced to watch an advertisement. Rewarded ads are shown only when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward (e.g., reviving your mech or earning gems).

We do not display banner ads or interstitial ads.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. Because we do not collect any personal data, no special provisions are needed. The App is rated Everyone 10+ and contains only fantasy violence.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through a third-party service, please contact Google directly through their privacy controls.

Data Storage & Security

All game data is saved locally on your device using Godot Engine's built-in save system. We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud storage for user data. If you uninstall the App, your local save data will be deleted.

Permissions

The App may request the following Android permissions:

Internet Access — Required for serving rewarded ads and processing in-app purchases.
Network State — Used to check connectivity before attempting to load ads.

Your Choices

Ad Personalization: You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).
In-App Purchases: You can disable in-app purchases through your device's Google Play settings.
Data Deletion: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored game data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
