QuietScan — Privacy Policy

QuietScan ("the app"), published by Sycamore Hill Studios, is a local-only app.

• No data collection. The app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There is no analytics code and no advertising SDK.
• Scanning happens on your device. QR codes and barcodes are decoded entirely on your phone by a scanner built into the app. Camera frames are processed in memory and never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere.
• Camera. The camera is used only while you are scanning, only to find codes.
• Scan history. Your scan history is stored only on your device and you can delete any entry, or all of it, at any time inside the app.
• Opening links. The app never opens a scanned link by itself. It shows you the address first; if you choose to open it, it opens in your own browser — outside the app.
• No accounts. The app requires no sign-up.
• Purchases. Optional tips are processed entirely by Google Play's billing system. The app never sees or stores your payment details. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Deleting data. Uninstalling the app removes all of its data.
