Unspool · Sycamore Hill Studios · Last updated 30 July 2026
Unspool collects nothing.
That is the entire policy. Everything below simply explains what that means and why we can say it so plainly.
Nothing. Unspool has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, no crash reporting, and no telemetry of any kind. We do not know who you are, that you installed the game, or that you played it.
Your levels, stars, streaks, yarn, charms, achievements and settings are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded, backed up to us, or shared. If you uninstall the game, that data is deleted with it, and we cannot restore it — because we never had a copy.
The daily tangle is not downloaded. Your device calculates it from the date, so every player worldwide gets the same puzzle without any of us contacting a server. Unspool is fully playable with no network connection.
The game makes no network requests during normal play. The only exceptions are:
Unspool is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no data whatsoever, we collect no data from children either. There is nothing to disclose under COPPA, GDPR-K, or comparable rules.
Laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. To delete everything Unspool has ever stored, uninstall the app or use Settings to clear your save.
Unspool requests no sensitive Android permissions. It does not use the camera, microphone, contacts, location, or files.
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will appear at this address with a new date. If a future version of the game ever collected anything at all, we would say so here in plain language before it shipped.
